I installed Comodo anti virus over a year ago. I've had no problems. I went cheap and installed the free version. They also have a search engine, I use it to.

I used to use AVG antivirus FREE. I never had any problems with it.

I finally stepped up and got the paid AVG. Works great for me.

I finally stepped up and got the paid AVG. Works great for me. I've never had the paid for AVG. I've used Norton's for years and it's good. McAfee works ok but it's a resource hog, meaning it takes up too much space on your hard drive.

I will only note that you get what you pay for. I hate to say it but IF/WHEN you get hit with malware, your free versions are likely to be worth exactly what you paid for them.

Yeah, You're right I guess. The computer I'm on now I consider junk. It's probably 10 years old. I have 2 more. One even older and one much newer.
Three times I've had windows 10 updates, twice it knocked Norton's completely out. That's the reason I'm using Comodo. I've had stuff get past Norton's to so it's not perfect.
Btw, before I turned this off last night there was an update. I let it update and turn it's self off. It's changed things and I don't like it....just when I was getting use to it to. Whew.

I wonder how many people have had their computers messed up by those windows 10 updates? I wish there was a class action lawsuit going!!
