I love both and have both. I love the orange tangy tea, or Earl Grey, English or Irish breakfast or chai tea with honey and cream in it. As for coffee, my favorite is the maple syrup mild roast latte with 2 sugars or the caramel-praline cappuccino they have at 2nd cup, my most favorite and usual coffee shop I go to every morning and sip my coffee and tea there with a good book in my book. Perfect way to spend my morning. In the afternoon and evening, I usually have camomile lemon honey tea before heading to bed. hi @naiwen Have you ever tried " Bubble Tea" ? looks nice www.twinings.co.uk/about-twinings/latest-news-and-articles/what-is-bubble-tea

I'd rather do without than drink instant coffee! There are exceptions, but most of it is quite revolting. I used to 'tolerate' Taster's Choice in a pinch.

I like my 4 cup Mr. Coffee drip pot. $20. DH doesn't drink coffee so it's all for me. I can't stand Keurig coffee. Tastes like nothing. The water goes through so quickly there is no time for any flavor to develop. No thanks! It's like someone sat down and thought, let's invent a $200 to make coffee and market that to suckers! lol

I used to drink nothing but Folger's instant, mainly because I could make it as black as possible, and it was convenient. Folgers was the only one I liked.
Was given a Keurig a couple years ago, and after trying several different brands settled on Tully's French or Italian Dark Roasts. Both strong and black if you make the small cup.

I like coffee strong and black. Grounds boiled in a pot. During the boiling I might crack an egg and toss it into the boiling pot, nothing else.
Then drink it in a mug. Probably 1 and a half pots a day. The next morning heat-up any left over coffee. Again nothing else added just drink as hot as I can stand it.

I've heard of putting egg SHELLS in the pot, but never a whole egg. Grounds boiled in a pot, my Dad called Cowboy coffee!

I don't get the whole egg either, but the shells were supposedly to take out the bitterness of the strong coffee.

And yes, the shells will do as well, but the whole egg just provide a little more of takine the edge off the grounds.
