Don't bother, this is the stupidest piece of crap I've ever tried to read. The liberties this author takes with history simply infuriate me.

I thought the book was amusing. I sure didn't read it expecting historical accuracy from a book who's premise is obviously not reality.

I thought the book was amusing. I sure didn't read it expecting historical accuracy from a book who's premise is obviously not reality. I knew it was fiction going into it. The story isn't so much what bothers me, it's all the photoshopped pictures (like the one of Lincoln standing with his foot on a dead "vampire" with other dead men scattered across a field in the background. The original photo is a Matthew Brady shot of the Gettysburg battlefield with Lincoln and the "dead vampire" added. What's bothering me is that there are people out there who will see that photoshopped picture and BELIEVE it -- and maybe see the real photo in a school book and think "the conspiracy to keep this hidden took Lincoln and the vampire out of the picture." It's a sad day when one realizes that even though "ALVK" is complete fiction that there are actually Americans (and others) stupid enough to believe that it's all true.

I would read it. I enjoyed "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". I thought it was fun.

Did you read the others: Sense and Sensibilities and Sea Monsters and Dawn of the Dreadfuls, the prequel to Pride and Prejudice? They are great! I hear they are going to make a movie of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. That one I will definitely see!

No, I didn't, but now I think I might have to go to the library!
Saw previews for the movie "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer". Looked pretty good, but I like that kind of stuff, anyway.

If there are morons out there that can't separate fact from fiction, they've got bigger problems than simply being morons.
