As I’ve mentioned before, my employer’s largest client is in the healthcare industry, and I work there two days a week.
Today, as I was headed to the cafe, I passed a waiting area where a therapy dog was getting affection from some patients. Said therapy dog noticed me and came over because nobody was getting past him without doling out the scratches, lol!
I love dogs. The only reason I’ve never owned one is because cats will never need a walk a 10:00 pm during a snowstorm. 😁

Back in my Sweet Adeline days, I had to lock my cat out of the bedroom whenever I was packing for a competition or retreat because otherwise, she’d pee in my suitcase.

They can be very ornery little boogers, for sure!

They can be very ornery little boogers, for sure! I rescued a kitten from a drug dealers house once. They were horrid to the poor thing, while my then boyfriend bought drugs, I snuggled kitty into my jacket and left. That cat grew up big, he loved me but absolutely hated men and would attack, jumping out of nowhere, climbing up their legs and taking a swat at them. I had to offer to pay for a few pairs of pants. Kitty also took the opportunity, if presented, to relieve himself in any male shoes left unattended by the door. My brother would seldom visit in those days.
