I've listened to the girls ask to go to the mall a MILLION times so... I figure, I have to buy'em school clothes so we'll take advantage of the sales tax holiday today. I dread it. I know it's going to be insane, but ... I have some strange kids, though. If it's too insane, they'll just suggest we go home and come back for clearance sales. I'm game for that. A good clearance usually offsets tax anyway.

Reasors is real busy too with the 12 hour sale. Wal Mart at Adm. & Memorial is a mess, they are doing a re-model and are tearing up the parking lot too.

We don't buy clothes for school from Walmart, so their crowd is not gonna be a problem for us. We got everything the girls need. Caught some great clearance sales. Actually found jeans for my 5'10" tall daughter for 20 bucks. That's a bargain, trust me. Aeropostale, American Eagle, Hot Topic...their 3 favorite stores..had great great deals. Walmart doesn't carry much that my girls can wear, one is very tall, the other is very thin.

I did alot of running this past weekend, I'm doing pretty darn good I'm able to keep my pace around 8.5-8.8. it's still a far cry from when I was younger and ran a 7.5 pace on the Trinity Trail in Fort Worth, Back then I did 10 mile runs every weekend, and I even ran week days after work 4 miles or so. My mother kept saying if I don't stop running I'll wind up a criple at age 40 with busted knees & worn hips, and she never ran a day in her life and she needed hip replacement surgery back in 1990. My wife also did not like me going for run straight from work without stopping home first. I was a jogging junkie back then.

It's supposed to get up to 105 degrees taday under clear blue skys. I'd like to go for a good run this afternoon and see how I do. It's a tuff work out and puts alot of stress on one's body. After a run when it's near 100 degrees I'm drenched in sweat, my hair and shorts are soaking wet. Today starts my weekend.

Yes, they are up-dating all over even their neighbor food stores are updating. I went out there Wednesday night.... It's so messed up & re-arranged I couldn't find a damned thing!! I've never seen such a mess. It's a freaking MAZE!! I can't even begin to describe the aisle set up now!! # # It's set up so that there's NO way you can go directly to what you came in for. Their set up assures you'll have to follow several different directional aisles, seeing more of their crappy merchandise.

They have finished remodeling all of our Wal-Marts here. They look really good, have wider aisles, and are all set up exactly the same. Makes finding what you want a breeze!

I certainly hope that we don't have any plans for this weekend. I need to catch up on some sleep. It has been really, really hot in the house for the past couple of days, despite the fans, and it has been difficult to sleep. Supposed to be cooler (relative term) this weekend. I certainly hope so. I am so ready for summer to be over!

I don't want summer to ever end. I have noticed that many trees are dropping their leaves already they must feel a chill in the air as September gets ready to rear it's frosty head. I hate the thought of winter. I noticed the Sun has really moved quite a bit to the South, it no longer shines into my small bedroom window like it did in June.

SK, the trees are dropping their leaves because of the extreme heat and lack of rain here in Okla., not because it's going to turn winter.

Where is a CHILL coming from!!? # # You try to tell me you know all about GW & how it's not happening, how it's all a hoax & scam, but you don't even know that the trees are dropping their leaves because of the extreme HEAT!!? You think they feel a CHILL?! #thud0lj#
